How to Use Press Brake Controller to Draw the Die.

Now demonstrating the DA-66S or DA-69S controller how to draw the die. This is the upper die. For a shape like this upper die. How should it be drawn.

First click on the machine tool. In the upper die interface click the "New" button. Name the die H205. Click Accept. Enter the basic parameters of the die. Assume the die height is 205mm. Die angle 85°.

Die chamfer 0.5mm. Die width 60°. Die pressure resistance 0.08T/mm. Check the data to ensure no errors. Click Accept. Then modify the side lengths of the shape. Assume this narrow side is 10mm.

The next long side is 65mm. Measured die exact angle is 110°. Measured inner edge size is 55mm. Confirm line direction. Change height to 70mm. Measured die angle is 110°. Assume the entered die angle is 110°.

Check reveals angle error. Click Delete. Re-enter die angle as -110°. Check shows angle is correct. Measured line length is 40mm. Confirm the line is facing upward. Drag the line. Measure the line length.

Drag the line direction. Enter line length 25mm. Confirm line direction. Measured line length is 35mm. Measure the line’s distance and direction. Enter line length 30mm. Measured die angle is 135°. Line length is 15mm.

Click Auto Complete. Generate a rough outline of the die. The right side can monitor the die status in real time. Click Finish. Upper die drawing completed. In actual application you need to measure, the length width and height of the die to draw the shape.

Or draw the shape according to the die technical drawing dimensions. And input into the system. Lower die drawing demonstration. Click Lower Die. In the lower die interface click the "New" button. Name the die H111-V16. For detailed specifications and reference charts, you can download our Brochures.

Click Accept. Enter the basic parameters of the die. Assume die width is 32mm. Die height is 111mm. Refer to the distance from the die shoulder to the upper die plane. R A angle is the chamfer of the groove.

R A chamfer is 1.5mm. Die V angle is 85°. V angle width is 16mm. Confirm the bottom options. V-shaped standard option. Round option. Square option. Default is standard option. Click Pressure Resistance.

Increase pressure resistance to 0.08T/mm. Click Accept. Assume measured left and right margins are 3mm. Confirm lines go downward. Measured left and right line height is 96mm.

Lines extend symmetrically on both sides along central axis. Right angle is -90°. Assume left angle entered as 90°. Check reveals angle error. Re-enter angle as -90°.

Confirm symmetric margin as 5mm. Lines go downward. Measure die handle data. Assume width is 13mm. Confirm die handle margin is 9.5mm.

Measure downward distance as 20mm. Enter 20. Enter width 13mm. Enter upward line length 20mm. Click Auto Generate. Lower die drawing completed. Right side can monitor die status in real time.
