When using the DA53TX controller during the bending process. If angle or dimensional errors occur, how should we perform correction?

Next, we'll program the bend and demonstrate the correction process. First, create a new program. Program name: ADH-001. Here, add a product description.

For example, it's a product for customer ASD. Select angle programming. Enter sheet thickness 1.2 mm. Accept. Select the upper and lower dies. Enter the programming interface. Bend length is 100 mm. Bend to 90°. Enter 25 mm for the backgauge dimension. This is the X-axis edited dimension.

Enter Auto mode. Press the Run key. Start bending now. Bending in progress. Measured at 87°. That corresponds to a 3° error. Correction is required in the controller. The measured result is 87°. Correct α1 and α2 by 3°. Alternatively, apply a 3° correction in Overall Correction.

Either correction is sufficient. After correction, bend again. Perform the bend again. This is the bend angle before correction. This is the bend angle after correction. Start measuring. Measurement result is 90°. This is the bend dimension.

It can also be corrected. The first bend angle was incorrect. The second time, after correction, we obtained the correct bend angle. If the bend dimension has an error, we can also correct X in the controller.

The controller defaults to a -1.4 mm sheet-thickness deduction. Because of this sheet thickness, a deduction is needed to ensure the external dimension is 25 mm. If the resulting bend dimension is 25.1 mm, it's 0.1 mm oversized.

We can increase the X-axis deduction. Enter -1.5 mm. Increase by 0.1 mm. If the resulting bend dimension is undersized, change the default -1.4 mm to -1.3 mm, the actual dimension will become larger. Thanks for watching!
